To celebrate the introduction of our new 2016 website, we are pleased to announce the completion of a two-year project, "Eighth Street Upclose". This series of 30" x 40" oil paintings depicts the historic and present day beauty of Holland, Michigan, a unique American Midwestern city.

 

The style is realistic, the details authentic; yet the realism is enhanced with a tapestry-like sense of fantasy. The combined influences of Persian poetry illustrations and European post-impressionist artists account for the bold use of line and color.
